It all started in a garden, with a mother’s instinct and a deep respect for plants.
When I was pregnant with my first son, I became hyper-aware of what I was putting on my skin - his skin. I wanted to be sure it was safe, simple, and free from anything unnecessary. So, I started making my own soap, infusing it with calendula from my garden. What began as a personal journey quickly turned into something bigger.
I started Herb Remedy to share the simple, effective products I’ve relied on for years - remedies crafted with the same care and intention I’ve always used for my own family.

Herbal medicine isn’t a trend - it’s a time-honoured tradition that has shaped my life. But my belief in its power deepened when, in my early 20s, I was told I couldn’t have children. Instead of accepting that, I turned to naturopathy, using herbs and natural remedies to restore my health. I went on to have four children, including twins, and plants have remained my family’s first call for fevers, rashes, cuts and colds ever since.
Studying naturopathy gave me the science to back what I already knew: nature heals. After running a commercial soap business for over a decade, I created Herb Remedy as a way to offer the same simple, effective products I use at home - ones that honour nature’s ability to support our wellbeing.

We commit to only using clean ingredients of pure origins, and as little ingredients as possible. Our ingredient lists will always be short in length and simple to understand.
